Members of the local community in and around Towcester are being invited to attend a meeting on 15 February to learn more about the regeneration of Moat Lane.

The public can attend the meeting to find out what is intended for the site and how it aims to help the town centre become vibrant and ready for growth, whilst retaining the market town essence of Towcester. Plans include a new community library and registry office, improved leisure facilities – including a new hotel, restaurant, cafes and bars – car parking, and additional shops.

Local residents, business owners and Town Councillors will be able to hear first hand about the regeneration, including South Northamptonshire Council’s intended relocation to the site.  They will then be given the opportunity to ask any questions they may have about the development.

South Northamptonshire Council Cabinet members and Officers; members of the Moat Lane Development steering group and representatives from partner organisations, including West Northamptonshire Development Corporation and Northamptonshire County Council, are expected to attend the meeting.

The meeting will take place at Towcester Town Hall on Monday 15 February between 7pm and 9pm
