Can you give more details.

Is there a charge for each walk or an annual subscription?

Weekends away - what are the costs and is there transport available?

Are the walks a 'stroll' or more strenuous?

etc

Thanks.

Reginald

I have just picked up your inquiry.

The monthly walks are usually in the form of a figure of eight.  This enables you to choose the morning walk, the afternoon walk or a full day walk. The day total is about 10 miles - so they are not really a stroll.  You would need walking boots / shoes plus a waterproof coat.
There is no charge for  the monthly walks.

As regards membership of the club there is an annual membership fee of £10.

For the walking weekends we usually hire a National Trust base camp building, the cost varies depending on the cost of hiring the accommodation, but it is usually about £30 per night.  We do operate a car sharing scheme for the weekends.

I will post the details of the January walk as soons as possible.
