The final design for a new skatepark in Northampton is to go on display at the Guildhall next week (Saturday 17 December).
The new facility is planned to be built in Midsummer Meadow and will provide a free and safe recreational skatepark for BMXing, skateboarding, roller blading, stunt scooters and other wheel sports.
All those interested in seeing the design will get the chance to have a final say before a planning application is submitted.
Northampton Borough Council, which is arranging the event, has also today launched an online survey to ask for people's wishes for the proposed facility and planned location. Responses to the survey will need to be returned by Monday 19 December 2012.
