Police are re-appealing for any information on the whereabouts of 14-year-old girls Caitlin Rogers and Martika Cook, who have been missing since Friday 19 August.

It is believed the girls may have gone missing together.

Caitlin Rogers went missing from her home address in Greig Walk, Corby, on Friday 19 August. Caitlin was last seen wearing a brown leather jacket and dark blue jeans.
She is 5’4”, of slim build, aged 14 with short hair dyed black and an eye-brow piercing. When she went missing she was wearing a brown leather jacket and dark blue jeans.

Martika Cook went missing from her home in Causin Close, Kettering, on the same day.
She is white, of slim build, with very long dark brown hair and brown eyes. A photograph of Martika is attached.

Officers are keen to speak with anyone who may know of Caitlin and Martika’s whereabouts or may have seen them since she went missing. Officers are also urging the girls themselves to come forward to confirm they are safe and well.

*UPDATE*

Caitlin and Martika have now been missing from home for seven days.

Police have had confirmed independent sightings of Caitlin and Martika, which would indicate that they are safe and well and have not come to any harm.

Officers have also been in contact with the girls who have stated that they are safe and well and intend to return home when they are ready to do so, however they have refused to say where they are.

A police spokesperson said:

“We understand people may be harbouring Caitlin and Martika because they believe this is in the girl’s best interest.

"This is not the case. It is important that we establish where they are and how they are and anyone who is protecting or sheltering them will find themselves liable to criminal proceedings being taken against them."

We are appealing for anyone with any information as to the whereabouts of Caitlin and Martika to contact Northamptonshire Police in confidence on 03000 111 222.
