Officers in Northampton would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed a robbery in Bective Road, in the early hours of Sunday 10 April.

Two men had walked along the Harborough Road, just after midnight and turned onto Bective Road into the car park behind the shops, when they were approached by four men who had been riding in a blue pick-up style truck.

The four men approached the two and assaulted them, stealing a mobile phone from one of the victims, a 27-year-old man who received a bump to the head.

Nothing was stolen from the other victim, a 43-year-old man who received cuts to his wrists.

The offenders were discribed as three black men and one white man and all were wearing dark coloured clothing and had their faces covered.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed this incident or who may have any information regarding it.

Witnesses to this incident, or anyone with information, should call Northamptonshire Police on 03000 111 222 - alternatively, information can be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
